At More Than Bootstraps, they believe it takes much more than “pulling yourself up by the bootstraps” to get ahead in life. The organization was founded by educators who experienced firsthand how hard it is for first generation students to navigate their way through higher education. More Than Bootstraps has established and fostered a community of success consisting of three major components: near-peer mentorship, stipend support for program participants, and parent engagement. The end vision of More Than Boot Straps is “a world in which every young person has access to and support for success in higher education.”

Revivn collected and repurposed computers from our parters which were donated to More Than Bootstraps for members to use in a variety of programs including their College Student Leaders Training (pictured below).
