What is Hardware Lifecycle Management?

Hardware lifecycle management is the process of monitoring enterprise hardware from procurement to end of life and everything in between. This is not always as linear as buying a new piece of hardware and using it to its “full potential.” HLM also includes the repurposing, recycling, and stripping of hardware for its viable parts.
